Captain — STJ CyberStorm
Led the St. John's CyberStorm cybersecurity team, recruiting and selecting new members through technical assessments and interviews. Organized weekly training sessions covering ethical hacking, CTF strategies, and SOC fundamentals, and grew the team into one of the most active cybersecurity groups on campus through active recruitment and outreach.
Vice-President — STJ ACM Student Chapter
Elected Vice-President of the ACM Student Chapter at St. John's during my 4th year, after serving on the executive board the previous year. Helped organize club workshops and hackathons, working to grow participation and expand outreach across the university.
Events Coordinator — STJ ACM Student Chapter
Coordinated and ran club events, workshops, and meetups for the ACM Student Chapter, managing logistics, scheduling, and promotion to grow student participation and engagement.

Design and deliver tailored curriculum plans for K–12 students across math, reading, and test preparation. Mentor 30+ students weekly, adapting teaching strategies to individual learning needs and skill levels.

Led a team of 8 students in a 2-day Blue Team defense scenario, securing and maintaining a managed service provider's infrastructure against live Red Team attacks. Managed service uptime, completed business injects, and authored incident response reports under time pressure. Competed among the top 10 qualifying universities across the Northeastern region at Middlesex Community College.
HTB Hack The Madness
Competed in HackTheBox's Hack The Madness CTF, solving offensive security challenges across web exploitation, cryptography, reverse engineering, and forensics categories.
Hofstra CTF (Amazon-sponsored) [4th of 19]
Placed 4th out of 19 teams as CyberStorm Alpha in an Amazon-sponsored CTF, solving challenges in cryptography, forensics, reverse engineering, and web security. Advanced from the qualifier round to the final 10 teams, competing against colleges and universities across the New York metropolitan area.
BSides NYC CTF [3rd place]
Placed 3rd as part of a 6-member St. John's team at the BSides NYC cybersecurity conference hosted at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Competed alongside over 1,000 conference attendees and dozens of industry professionals.
Hivestorm
Competed in Hivestorm, a national collegiate cyber defense competition focused on Blue Team operations. Secured provided Windows and Linux virtual machines under time pressure — removing malware, correcting misconfigurations, mitigating vulnerabilities, and disabling vulnerable services to accumulate points before time expired.
ISC2 CTF Hack-A-Thon [4th of 26]
Placed 4th out of 26 teams in ISC2's annual CTF competition hosted at New York Institute of Technology, solving challenges in packet analysis, brute-force cracking, RSA decryption, and dictionary lookups. Competed against 52 students from 9 colleges across NYC and Long Island.
NECCDC Qualifiers
Led a team of 8–12 students in a Blue Team SOC scenario, competing among the top universities across the Northeastern region. Used various blue team SOC tools to secure and defend against real-time red team attacks.
VIVID Cyber Competition [Top 15 of 90+]
Led a team of 4 students in Blue and Red team exercises and a King Of The Hill match, competing among the top 15 out of 90+ teams.
